The Environmental Protection Agency released three proposed rules November 4 revising national emissions standards for hazardous air pollutants for ferroalloys production, mineral wood production, and wool fiberglass manufacturing, and primary aluminum reduction. The same day, the agency finalized two rules, one targeting air toxics from wood furniture manufacturing operations and shipbuilding and ship repair operations and the other targeting primary lead smelting.
