In the matter of Chipotle Services, LLC, the National Labor Relations Board found that Chipotle's request that an employee remove tweets that Chipotle viewed as in violation of it's Social Media Code of Conduct, were a violation of the National Labor Relations Act.

Some tweets concerned hourly workers having to work on snow days when public transportation was shut down, while certain other workers had the day off. Other tweets were in response to customer's tweets directed toward the Chipotle Twitter account.

The NLRB found that portions of Chipotle's Social Media Code of Conduct violated and restricted the rights of employees under Section 7 of the NLRA.
