General Court orders EU to pay damages for excessive length of appeal proceedings
In the first case of its kind, the General Court has ordered the EU to pay more than €50 000 in damages to the companies Gascogne Sack Deutschland and Gascogne as a result of the excessive length of proceedings before the General Court in relation to appeals against the European Commission's industrial plastic bags cartel.
