The London Stock Exchange has published for comment its proposed amendments to the Admission and Disclosure Standards, together with Form 1 (application for admission). The Standards are being revised to reflect the additional requirements imposed on the LSE's admission standards by MiFID. Changes proposed to the Standards include a wider scope of application, to apply to the admission of all types of securities on the LSE markets (other than AIM). The new structure of the Standards is intended to set out the core rules more clearly with more detailed guidance. The new Standards now also incorporate LSE’s compliance procedures. The revised Standards are intended to take effect on 1 November 2007 with MiFID and the launch of the Specialist Fund Market. Comments are invited by 15 October 2007.
