Following a judgement of the High Court JK Rowling and Bloomsbury Publishing may well face a 10 day trial. The author and publishing company failed in their bid to have a copyright infringement claim against them summarily disposed of. The estate of the author of the wizard adventure novella "Willy the Wizard" may now continue in its claim, denied by the defendants, that "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" infringes copyright in "Willy the Wizard". TomiLawyer Nick Kounoupias, acting on behalf of the estate, commented earlier today that "even at this early stage, the judge has concluded that the claim may succeed at a full trial."
