Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairwoman Barbara Boxer announced that she plans to release her climate bill when the Senate returns from the August recess. She said, “The bill will be introduced when we get back, after we get back, as soon as we get back. We're going to use the extra time we have to make it the best it can be." Congress will return from the recess on September 7, but according to a Sen. Boxer aide, the legislation won’t be released until the following day.
