In her speech at the Global Consumer Money Transfer Conference, Kitty Ussher (Economic Secretary to the Treasury), states that the FSA will be the UK regulator for the supervision of payment service provision under the Payment Services Directive. However, HM Revenue & Customs will remain responsible for supervising the anti-money laundering requirements of money service businesses established under the Third Money Laundering Directive.
