The Government Accountability Office has released a list of urgent issues that will face the Obama administration. The GAO will also release a set of reports examining the options that policymakers have in addressing such issues as climate change, energy, domestic infrastructure and Medicare. A preview of the report, to be entitled “Addressing Climate Change,” states that it “will discuss policy options and the associated trade-offs involving economic effects, international cooperation, energy production and consumption, and effects on the environment.” The report is scheduled to be released in May.
