The House Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a hearing on climate change and the President’s climate action strategy on September 18. Ranking Member Henry Waxman (D-CA) urged the committee to have witnesses who are scientists. The committee asked for testimony from 13 agencies and departments: the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Export-Import Bank, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Office of Science and Technology, and the Departments of Agriculture, Defense, Energy, Health and Human Services, Interior, State, and Transportation.
