In July 2012 NZX introduced a gender diversity rule which requires listed issuers to include in their annual reports a quantitative breakdown as to the gender composition of the issuer’s directors and officers as at the issuer’s balance date. This rule came into effect for financial years ending on or after 31 December 2012.
NZX has released the first year of results outlined in the table below. These results will be used to provide a benchmark for comparison of future trends.
