The FSA has published a Final Notice concerning Mohammed Ahmed prohibiting Mr Ahmed from performing any function in relation to any regulated activity carried on by any authorised person, exempt person or exempt professional firm. In particular, the FSA believes that Mr Ahmed is not a fit and proper person because he submitted three mortgage applications containing false information about his personal and financial circumstances. These applications were supported by the submission of false P60s and payslips. Mr Ahmed also failed to disclose the true extent of his property holdings when applying for a mortgage.
