The Civil Justice Council (CJC) has invited views on the impact of the Jackson reforms as the 1 year anniversary of the implementation approaches.
The evidence will be gathered and used at a conference to be held by the CJC in March 2014.
The CJC are asking for written submissions dealing with:
- the type of cases being taken on and not taken on by law firms;
- the funding of cases;
- experiences of costs budgeting and management of cases throughout the Courts.
Mr Justice Ramsey, the Judge in charge of implementing the reforms is already conducting a review of he issues causing the most concern. Another large-scale reform programme has however already been ruled out.
