Over the next two weeks, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee will hold two hearings on climate change. The first hearing will be this Thursday, October 14, and will focus on energy and related economic issues associated with climate change legislation. A second hearing will be held on the following Thursday, October 21, to examine the effects of the allocation of greenhouse gas emission allowances on energy consumers and prices. Witnesses for the hearings have yet to be announced.
