Basel Committee publishes Basel III monitoring results: The Basel Committee has published data on the state of banks' prudential metrics as of 31 December 2013 assuming the Basel III framework had been fully implemented by that date. The aggregate shortfall in Common Equity Tier 1 (CET 1) for all banks has continued to decrease, and most banks also meet the requirements in the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and the Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR). EBA has also published the results for EU banks. These show that there is still a shortfall of EUR0.1 billion to achieve the minimum 4.5% CET 1 requirement (which comes into force in 2015), and that, for the largest banks, the average LCR is 107% and the average NSFR 102%.
