On Thursday, June 30, Governor Kasich signed a new Ohio budget bill into law that makes significant changes to Ohio’s existing prevailing wage requirements.  We previously outlined the these changes in a blog post after the Senate passed a version of the bill in early June.  (http://constructionlawnews.com/ohio-prevailing-wage-budget).  The prevailing wage portions of the final bill are the same as those in the Senate bill.  The new prevailing wage requirements will become effective 90 days after the bill was signed, on September 28, 2011.
