The OCC revised and updated the "Fair Lending" booklet for the Comptroller's Handbook. The revised booklet supersedes the version published in January 2010.
The revisions reflect updates to laws and regulations relating to fair lending risk and compliance and describes the current OCC approach to fair lending examinations. The changes include additional details on examination scenarios and more detailed risk factors for a variety of examination types. The booklet also provides supervision, risk management and legal compliance guidance.
