House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) asked the California Air Resources Board for information and documents November 9 related to the agency’s role in negotiating national fuel economy and greenhouse gas standards for passenger cars, light-duty trucks, and heavyduty trucks, or CAFE standards. The request came in a letter giving CARB Chairman Mary Nichols until November 23 to answer a list of questions and turn over a number of documents.
