FSB has published a report on the progress made in implementing the FSB Principles and Standards on Sound Compensation Practices. It found that nearly all member jurisdictions have implemented the principles and standards although some have chosen not to implement all FSB's recommendations and must continue to work to overcome the obstacles to full implementation. It also notes that some EU jurisdictions have already issued specific guidance and that there has been notable progress in implementing the Basel Pillar 3 disclosure requirements. It also notes important differences in the application of the principles and standards and an increase in supervisory attention at a domestic level. FSB recommends a workshop to assess areas that need further work. (Source: Implementing the FSB Principles for Sound Compensation)
