The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued revisions to regulations for labeling of pesticide products and devices intended solely for export.

Most of the revisions are characterized as “restructuring” to clarify which provisions apply in specific circumstances. But EPA is also requiring more specific labeling for unregistered pesticide products intended solely for export even when they are transferred between registered establishments operated by the same producer in the United States. The new rules require the same kinds of labeling for such shipments as for other transfers of unregistered pesticides intended for export, with disclosure that the product is an unregistered pesticide intended for export.
