ECB has launched a consultation on recommendations for the security of mobile payments. It covers payments in which the mobile device of a customer is used as a device to initiate a payment, except where the customer only uses a web browser to access the internet. This includes contactless payments, use of apps and SMS payments. The deadlines for responses is 31 January 2014. (Source: Recommendations for the Security of Mobile Payments)
