The Psychotherapists Board has published its Psychotherapists Standards of Ethical Conduct. The document sets out ten ethical principles, five drawn from the Pākehā world view, and five from the Māori: "These principles are the core of the standards and guidelines and should be referred to in all areas of professional practice, especially if there is no clear standard covering the issue in question. Practitioners of all cultures, working with clients of all cultures, should consider all the principles". A copy of the Standards is available here.
