The National Labor Relations Board announced a pilot program that increases the opportunities for parties to participate in its voluntary, no-cost Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program. The Board’s Office of the Executive Secretary will engage with parties in pending cases to determine if the matter is suitable for ADR. Parties may also request to be placed in the program, and can withdraw at any time. According to the NLRB’s news release, this program “can provide parties with more creative, flexible and customized settlements of their disputes.”
