Commonsense Construction Law LLC

Starting with an undergraduate degree in architecture, followed by several years working in construction prior to law school, I have been involved with the construction industry for more than 40 years. Have been practicing law for more than 30 years in New England (but also involved with projects in New York, Washington, DC, Miami, New Orleans, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago, among other places). My work has spanned the range of consulting on project delivery choices, drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on project issues and contract rights/obligations, and overseeing or handling claims and disputes. Throughout, the emphasis has been, and still is, on cost-effective solutions. Prompt responses, explanation of legal standards, and reasoned advice is what I offer to clients. All based upon a detailed knowledge of the industry.
