The Cyprus Department of Merchant Shipping has announced that, following the lifting of the arms embargoes previously imposed by the United Nations and the European Union on Côte d'Ivoire and Liberia, it is taking steps to repeal the prohibition orders which implemented the embargoes.(1)
The restrictions set out in Circulars 21/2015, 28/2014 and 38/2014 relating to Côte d'Ivoire and in Circulars 7/2014 and 24/2010 relating to Liberia have been rescinded with immediate effect.
