On November 29 2010 a resolution amending the previous resolution on the export and import quotas for goods and garments that originate from non-North American Free Trade Agreement territories, but which are subject to tariff preferential levels, was published in the Federal Official Gazette.

On November 5 2010 a notice terminating anti-dumping duties on the following products was published in the Federal Official Gazette.

If no statement of interest is filed by domestic industry, the anti-dumping duties shall expire on the date indicated. If a statement is submitted, the Ministry of Economy shall initiate a sunset review in order to determine the continuation or elimination of the relevant anti-dumping duties.

The following notices and resolutions have also been published:

  • On November 3 2010 a notice of initiation of the sunset and administrative reviews of anti-dumpting duties on the import from Japan of seamless steel pipe with an external diameter equal to or greater than 101.6 millimetres, but less than 460 millimetres, was published. These goods are classified under tariff headings 7304.11.01, 7304.11.02, 7304.11.03, 7304.11.99, 7304.19.01, 7304.19.02, 7304.19.03, 7304.19.99, 7304.39.05, 7304.39.06, 7304.39.07, 7304.39.99, 7304.59.06, 7304.59.07, 7304.59.08 and 7304.59.99 of MexHTS. The period of review is set from January 1 2010 to June 30 2010, and the period of analysis of injury to the domestic industry is set from January 1 2006 to June 30 2010.
  • On November 4 2010 a resolution clarifiying the final determination in the anti-dumping investigation of the import of blackened or coated carbon steel nuts from China, as published on August 2 2010, was published. These goods are classified under tariff headings 7318.16.03 and 7318.16.04 of MexHTS.The resolution clarifies that anti-dumping duties of 64% are imposed on imports of one-piece carbon steel nuts that vary in degrees from 1008 to 1045, with hardness degrees of 2, 5, 8 and 2H, with a hexagonal or square form, a central perforation with a diameter of up to 1.5 inches and internal chord, the top and bottom portions of which are flat, regardless of whether they have any metal coating. Nuts that fall outside these specifications shall not be subject to anti-dumping duties.
  • On November 12 2010 a resolution complying with an amparo judicial order, whereby the final determination on the administrative review of anti-dumping duties imposed on the import of processed agaricus mushrooms from China and those exported by Calkins & Burke Limited was upheld, was published. These goods are classified under tariff heading 2003.10.01 of MexHTS.
  • On November 29 2010 a notice of initiation of the second administrative review of anti-dumping duties imposed on the import of processed agaricus mushrooms from China as exported by Calkins & Burke Limited was published. These goods are classified under tariff heading 2003.10.01 of MexHTS. The period of review is set from October 1 2009 to September 30 2010.
