The Finnish government has submitted a bill to parliament proposing changes to the Trademarks Act. The amended legislation would allow the division of a trademark application or registration listing several goods and/or services into two or more applications or registrations. This is required by the Trademark Law Treaty. An application could also be partially rejected and a registration partially revoked.
