How small to mid-sized legal departments can adopt legal operations

Wolters Kluwer Legal Software

Legal operations – the function that optimises the delivery of legal services for in-house legal counsel – exists to remove the barriers that prevent in-house lawyers from getting things done.

Employing a legal operations executive can be a game-changer for legal departments looking to work more efficiently and streamline processes. However, it requires resources and budget – both of which can be hard to come by for small to mid-sized legal departments.

This webinar explores how small and mid-sized legal departments can solve their productivity problems and optimise legal operations with technology (‘legal tech’).

The webinar will cover:

  • an introduction to legal operations;
  • how small to mid-sized legal departments can overcome the challenges to adopting legal operations;
  • how legal tech can help address three main objectives in the quest to optimise legal service delivery – efficiency, value and insights; and
  • a framework for identifying areas and processes that are ripe for improvement, with real-world examples using effacts – the smart legal dashboard for legal counsel.
