The following details should be included in the main text of the email:name;date of birth;passport number;country to submit the application; andhome and mobile phone number.The email account will be open for 48 hours only and all emails received within this timeframe will be sent an automated reply confirming receipt. When the email account has closed, 1,000 applicants will be chosen at random. A second email will be sent to the applicant on January 16 2012 if he or she has been chosen to apply. This email will confirm acceptance and provide further instructions on how to make an appointment, along with documentary evidence required to apply for entry clearance.Applicants living overseas may apply in their country of residence, but applications cannot be submitted in the United Kingdom.If successful, the applicant will be able to live, work and study in the United Kingdom for up to two years.Other countries that recently joined the Youth Mobility Scheme include South Korea and Taiwan.Under the proposed changes to the Immigration Rules that were announced on November 22 2012, the annual allocations of places will be renewed for 2013.
