Commerce Department preliminarily imposes anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese photovoltaic cells

China, USA - May 18 2012 The U.S. Department of Commerce announced its preliminary decision to impose anti-dumping duties on imports of Chinese crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells and modules in a percentage ranging from 31.14 percent to 249.96 percent (depending on which company makes them).

Commerce Department imposes tariffs on Chinese photovoltaic cells

China, USA - March 20 2012 The U.S. Department of Commerce announced today the imposition of countervailing duties on imports of Chinese crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules in a percentage ranging from 2.90 to 4.73 percent (depending on which company makes them) as a result of its preliminary determination in an investigation of subsidies to Chinese PV cell and module manufacturers.
