Federal Circuit affirms $50 million civil fraud verdict against Korean construction contractor

USA - April 14 2009 In a much-anticipated decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, on February 20, 2009, affirmed the U.S. Court of Federal Claims' decision awarding the federal government more than $50 million against the Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (Daewoo) and forfeiting the contractor's other claims in excess of $13 million.
