The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus (NAD) recently reviewed certain consumer testimonials posted to Nutrisystem, Inc.’s “pinboard” on the social photo sharing site Pinterest and determined that the testimonials required clear and conspicuous disclosures pursuant to FTC’s Guidelines Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.
