On 3 November 2010, the Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation submitted a Bill to Parliament to amend the Telecommunications Act, introducing inter alia a consent requirement for the use of cookies, as well as a new notification obligation on telecoms and internet service providers in case of data security breaches
