On Monday, the Senate Health Regulation Committee rejected an attempt by Chairman Rene Garcia to amend a repeal of the drug database onto S.B. 818 by Sen. Fasano. S.B. 818 strengthens a number of provisions related to controlled substances, but does not repeal the drug database.
