On 21 April 2015, the European Council adopted its position at first reading on the 4th Anti-Money Laundering Directive (see our earlier blog, here).

On 22 April 2015, it republished the text of the Directive, in exactly the same form as before, save that it’s now dated 21 April 2015, and carries an additional reference (“PARLNAT 31“).

On 23 April 2015, a draft European Parliament Committee Report was due for publication, but it’s yet to appear.

The Parliament’s Legislative Observatory is still to be updated to show when the Parliament will vote to adopt the Directive.

Whilst these things can be difficult to predict – the Committee Report and the updating of the Legislative Observatory seem imminent.
