Korea’s Fair Trade Commission (FTC) fined two explosives manufacturers for participating in a cartel for more than a decade. The FTC imposed a fine USD 47.17 million (approximately ZAR 539 million) on Hanwha and a fine of USD 11.58 million (approximately ZAR 132 million) on Koryo Nobel Explosives. The companies have also been referred to the prosecutor's office.
