Transparency and liquidity in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) power markets needs to be improved according to GDF SUEZ’s Frank Brannvoll. Brannvoll called for an increase in regional convergence to avoid significant price differentials across the bloc and said: “You are looking at prices one year ahead, two years ahead, and you can see that the markets are anticipating that there will be a much higher degree of correlation”.
