Earlier today, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued new guidance regarding travel between the United States and Cuba. The guidance identifies:

  • the types of individuals that may be transported between the United States and Cuba by a licensed air carrier or a licensed commercial passenger vessel; and
  • the types of cargo that may be transported between the United States and Cuba by a licensed air carrier or a licensed commercial passenger vessel.

The guidance is available here and follows OFAC’s release of new and updated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) relating to the Cuban Assets Control Regulations (CACR) on April 16.
