The Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) has published figures which show that the number of second charge mortgage repossessions declined by 45% in the first quarter of 2015.

The decline in Q1 2015 follows on from the overall decline of almost 34% in 2014.  Fiona Hoyle, Head of Consumer Credit at the FLA, commented that the number of second charge repossessions are continuing to fall due to second charge lenders trying to assist customers in financial difficulties.
