On 27 January, the EU published Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/109 and Council Implementing Decision (CFSP) 2015/118, which amend, respectively, Council Regulation (EC) No 560/2005 (“Regulation 560”) and Council Decision 2010/656/CFSP (“Decision 656”) in connection with restrictive measures imposed on individuals and entities in view of the situation in the Ivory Coast.  The amendments bring Regulation 560 and Decision 656 in line with the revision by the United Nations Security Council Committee on the Ivory Coast by removing Alcide Djédjé, a close advisor to ex- President Laurent Gbagbo and a member of his illegitimate government, from their list of persons subject to restrictive measures.
