On August 3, 2016, the International Trade Administration (ITA), U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce), published in the Federal Register a notice of an opportunity to apply for membership on the Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee (CINTAC).  The purpose of the CINTAC is to provide advice to the Secretary of Commerce regarding the development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of civil nuclear goods and services in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations, which will be used by Commerce in its role as a member of the Civil Nuclear Trade Working Group of the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee and of the TeamUSA interagency group to promote U.S. civil nuclear trade.

All applications for immediate consideration for appointment must be received by the Office of Energy & Environmental Industries by 5:00 p.m. (EDT) on September 2, 2016. After that date, ITA will continue to accept applications under this notice for a period of up to two years from the deadline to fill any vacancies that may arise.
