The Tribunal has awarded £100,000 in respect of legal costs to Angela Burns in respect of her dispute with FCA over her alleged misuse of her non-executive director position. The Tribunal awarded the amount because of FCA’s unreasonable reinstatement of an allegation of corrupt payments into the proceedings. It noted significant concerns about both the allegations Ms Burns made against FCA and FCA’s failure to retain a sense of proportion in its approach to the case.
