Following yesterday’s passage of two House bills to increase IRS oversight, the House voted today to pass two additional bills increasing IRS oversight.  The House voted 260-158 to pass a bill (H.R. 4890) that prohibits bonus payments for IRS employees until the agency implements a new customer service strategy.  In addition, the House voted 345-78 for a bill (H.R.3724) to prevent the IRS from rehiring employees previously fired for misconduct.
