We decided that one cyber sanctions-related podcast just wasn’t enough so today we’re joined by Zach Goldman, the Executive Director of the Center on Law and Security at NYU’s School of Law.

In this episode we discuss the interplay (or lack thereof) between sanctions practictioners, policy experts, and academics and Zach’s position at the center of these sometimes conflicting approaches to sanctions.

We then transition to the cyber sanctions program, which still lacks any actual sanctions targets. We explore the background of the new program, the different types of potential targets and how companies, particularly tech companies will need to factor cyber sanctions into their overall compliance efforts.
