On April 11, 2017, Ministerial Agreement No. 52-2017 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare was published in the Official Gazette, which approved "The Use of Electronic Registration of Unions of the Labor Registry Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare. "
This Agreement establishes, among others, the following aspects:
- It was approved that the Public Registry of Unions could be done in an electronic form, developed as a web application by the General Directorate of Information Systems of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
- The Electronic Registration of Unions seeks to provide legal certainty and electronic safeguard of administrative acts and union decisions that are part of administrative records of unions that are submitted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare for the recognition of statues, legal identity and any other act that must be resolved by said Ministry.
Said Agreement will be effective as of April 19, of this year.
