A Code of Conduct for third party funders of litigation was published on 24 November 2011.

The Code seeks to achieve a set of rules to be followed by funders and addresses concerns raised by Lord Justice Jackson in his Report on Civil Justice.

The code also creates an ‘Association of Litigation Funders’ with all main funders expected to become members.
