FSA has published undertakings from four insurance comparison websites. It found the firms were, variously, excluding or limiting their liability in unfair circumstances or "to the extent permitted by law". FSA found it was not fair to exclude liability for, for example, all liability for errors caused by the firm's technology. It also said firms should clearly set out what they are or are not liable for.
