According to BrandZ Top 100 2011, Apple is now #1 brand having risen 84% since last year, beating Google into second place. In fact, TMT brands dominate with IBM, Microsoft, AT&T, China Mobile & GE all in the top 10 with the tech sector showing an overall 18% increase and cloud computing on the up. Facebook entered the top 100 (#35) for the first time, reflecting its meteoric rise, with more visiting it in the US than Google. In case you're interested, the UK's first brand is Vodafone at #12.
