South Korean’s Ministry of Environment announced July 17 that it has added the United States and Canada to its growing list of mutual recognition agreements for sharing jurisdiction over environment-friendly product certification. The ministry said that the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute, which overseas the country’s Eco-Label certification program, has agreed with Green Seal of the United States and EcoLogo to extend recognition of green product certification to one another’s export products.
