The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety & Health (“NACOSH”) is holding a meeting of its OSH Professionals Pipeline Work Group on October 18, 2016. The Pipeline Work Group is developing recommendations on developing the next generation of occupational safety & health professionals. The purpose of the meeting is to allow the Professionals Pipeline Work Group to hear from organizations representing OSH professionals as well as other interested parties and stakeholders, and so the meeting is open to the public. The Pipeline Work Group is seeking insight on initiatives, best practices, and model programs for professionals. A first meeting was held on September 20, and the second meeting on October 18 will take place at the U.S. Department of Labor offices in Washington, DC. For more information, see the Department of Labor’s Trade Release on the upcoming meeting.
