The Money Advice Service (MAS) has published the terms of reference of the independent panel it has set up to advise it on addressing the recommendations of the review of MAS.

The independent review, which was launched by HM Treasury, made 25 recommendations to improve the MAS on issues including debt advice and MAS’ governance and accountability.  The terms of reference explain that the duties of the panel include providing expert opinions and raising different perspectives on the issues raised by the review and providing robust scrutiny and constructive challenge to ensure that a stronger MAS emerges.
